I grew up on Chicago's 'Eastside', which is far south and near the lakefront . I graduated from St. Francis deSales High School and earned my Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University. I still like to play hockey and I race on a sailboat in the summer months. I've done the Chicago Race to Mackinac 24 times and we've won our section 11 times. I always do the race with great friends, and winning just makes it that much better.
