I grew up on Chicago's 'Eastside', which is far south and near the lakefront. I graduated from St. Francis deSales High School and earned my Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University. I still like to play hockey and race on sailboats in the summer months. I've sailed on the Chicago Race to Mackinac 25 times, and we have won our section 11 times. The boat has some of my great friends so winning makes it a bit better!
